Dr. Joanah Rojo, a native to central Texas, grew up in what used to be the small town of Round Rock, located just north of Austin. As a child, Joanah would seize any opportunity to work and play with animals, always knowing that one day she wanted to become a small animal veterinarian.
Joanah attended the University of Texas at Austin, completing her undergraduate studies in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Shortly thereafter, she was accepted to Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to College Station to complete her post-graduate studies. She graduated in 2009 with her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Rojo loves being back home in Austin and a member of the Manchaca Road Animal Hospital team. In her free time, Dr. Rojo enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and jogging around Town Lake. Dr. Rojo and her husband are the proud parents of a lab mix named Stella and a cat named Abbey.
